Of all plastic is used only once. It's low cost, and amazing utility meant we've abused and over-used plastic.


Plastic bottles are used each day. And sadly, recycling rates dropped for the first time in 2016.


Use of plastic is set to quadruple by 2050. By then, our oceans will have more plastic in it than fish, according to the World Economic Forum.
